Hand made processing Chinese herb



Details, details, details.

We all know different herbs have different functions.

But do you know different ways of processing given the herb different effects?

Here is the way we make light stir-frying on the herb “Licorice”, as called “Gan Cao” before we combine with other herbs as formula and cook as decoction.

In TCM, the functions of raw licorice are invigorating spleen and replenishing qi, clearing heat and removing toxicity, resolving phlegm and relieving cough, relieving spasm and pain, moderating the property of herbs.

However, fried-licorice is more tended to nourish, especially useful in the formula for heart diseases.

Every single herb in each formula has its irreplaceable and unique value, and strictly follow the rule is our attitude, details, details, and details
