The patient who was diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APS or APAS), an autoimmune disorder, search the help of acupuncture for her blood test before going through IVF.
APAS can cause pregnancy complications like miscarriage or stillbirth. So far for Western medicine, there is no cure, only some mom-to-be will be prescribed aspirin.
