This patient had allergic skin which is dry, itchy, red on her thigh, back and side body for 5 years on and off. When her first visit, she had taken steroid-related medicine for 3 weeks but still suffered from itchy skin.
After 5 sessions of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments, she went back after several months for other new symptoms, and we followed up her skin problem, it’s recovered as a satisfying result.
Due to our diagnosis, she had stomach yin deficiency, which caused her immune system to function low as we consider stomach and spleen are the basements of energy transforming from the food. Therefore, we strengthened her stomach to build the backup power that expelling the toxic stuck under the skin. After treatment, the skin recovered, as well as no more hyperacidity, and the nice metabolism lower her cholesterol for 200 to 125mg/L.
